Pure Peak Grit (PPG) is the UK’s hilliest long distance road cycling event.
The event was founded in 2019 by Alaina Beacall, and takes in over 600km of roads in and around the Peak District National Park. The route includes over 40 fearsome climbs, resulting in over 13,500m of ascent.
Myself, along with Laura Massey-Pugh were the Race Directors for the 2025 edition of the event, which had some significant format changes to the previous edition of the event.
