Pure Peak Grit (PPG) is the UK’s hilliest long distance road cycling event.
The event was founded in 2019 by Alaina Beacall, and takes in over 600km of roads in and around the Peak District National Park. The route includes over 40 fearsome climbs, resulting in over 13,500m of ascent.
Myself, along with Laura Massey-Pugh, Alice Howlett and Aiden Smith organised the 2024 edition of the event.
