I work as an artist, curator, writer, fundraiser, producer, events manager and basically do all sorts in the arts and charity sector.
As an artist, I works in a range of ways including sculpture, text and installation. I am currently working on my debut film, which explores family, relationships, loss and love.
As a curator and producer, I am currently working on a number of independent projects, along with being the Head of People & Partnerships at Active Fusion, the Founder and Editor of the web platform YAC | Young Artists in Conversation, one of the Race Directors of Pure Peak Grit and the Chair of the Board of Trustees at Our Big Picture.
Between 2022 - 2024 I was the Events Manager at the South Yorkshire based charity Paces, between 2021 - 2022, the Curator at Absolutely Cultured leading on the artistic programme at Humber Street Gallery, Hull and between 2017 - 2021 I was the Director of the contemporary arts organisation Bloc Projects, Sheffield.
As well as working with artists to build exhibitions, I work on a series of independent projects ranging from artist mentoring, organisational consultancy, devising and delivering monitoring and evaluation frameworks and advising on professional development programmes for creatives.
Previously I was also the Co-Founder of the cycling clothing and lifestyle brand Curbar with artist James Clarkson, 1/3 of the curatorial group Basic Channel, Co-Director of the international residency and exhibition programme Picnic Picnic with Pippa Cook and an Associate Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University. I was also the Chair of Trustees at Turf Projects, Croydon, and am currently on the advisory board for PINK, Manchester.
